A simple tool to calculate accessModeSufficient metadata values for an epub, depending on the type of content it contains.

Content Format Types

Assumes all meanginful text is encoded text and not an image.

Assumes images convey meaningful information not already conveyed elsewhere in the epub as text.

Assumes audio conveys meaningful information not already conveyed elsewhere in the epub as text.

Assumes default audio track conveys meaningful information not already conveyed elsewhere in the epub as text AND visuals convey meaningful information not already described in the default audio track.

Text/Media Alternatives

Checkboxes are disabled until relevant content formats are selected above.

Assumes transcript is available to read alongside the audio/video and is accessible with a screen reader.

Assumes captions are embedded within the video player and cannot be directly accessed with a screen reader.

A descriptive transcript describes all information conveyed aurally AND visually.
